Calvary Worship Center

I have been attending for years until Pastor Al preached a fire and brimstone sermon… teaching regarding false teachers which was fine- however he made fun of non Christians and Christians by mocking them. I find it impossible to fathom that God led this sermon. You seemed as if perhaps YOU were the false teacher . I had brought a visitor to this service. Pastor Al- how inappropriate of you- I will be finding another church home.

I moved here in 2014 and had no church home, in 2015 my coworker invited me to her church...CWCCS. I never left!!! I found out they have Saturday night services and I have been a Saturday nighter since. I know serve in the Children's ministry and love it. This church is touched by God, I have seen so many salvations at regular services and all the pastors are anointed. I love this church family so very much. I tell my husband when he asks me where I'm going, I say "it's my date night with Jesus".

My husband and I were visiting family in Colorado Springs for Thanksgiving. I found myself wrestling in my soul over the sadness I was seeing in the lives of those I love. I believe the Spirit directed us to CCWC instead of the other church we would attend when we would visit. We were greeted with friendliness, the ushers lead us to our seats. This Sunday we had the blessing of witnessing 50 believers being baptized. Just what my soul needed after days of sadness and wrestling with God. The worship of all who chose to enter in covered each and every person displaying thier hearts change outwardly through thier public water baptism. The spirit of God was so encouraging to remind me where life is. Laying down my life. The message what tailor-made from the events of my life to the place I belong....trusting My savior and obedience to his holy word. Wrestling I had been in was due to unbelief!.... O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.....2 Chronicle 20:12.....Perfect what to do!!! Admit I have no power over "This" .....but my/our eyes are upon You...oh Lord forgive me. In Genesis 32:22 Jacob sent very one away and was alone...Jacob wrestled all night with them man.....just as i had been.....stubbornness ....oh the Lord Gave a change in my heart.....No more wrestling for me even if it had been over a man who was actually a wrestler....SEE how perfect!! Oh give praise to our Lord and Savior!! Thank Him for pastors, and churches that still read, teach and edify the body of Christ through the leading of the Holy Spirit of God! I am so very grateful to have visited this church!! If I lived in Colorado Springs Co I would attend, get involved and worship our King with this group of Bible believing Jesus followers! Praise God our Sunday afternoon was a Spirit filled loving encouragement to our last visit with our family. A time of Love, hope and victory even when the circumstances did not change only my/our hearts did!! Praise God and His grace and mercy!! Wow that was long....But true :^)
